Great is pushing it just slightly. You are so complimentary about everyone but Liverpool They are on target for 41 points and have lost 8 of their last 11. 10th is clouding things a bit, they have been woeful for most of the season.

Typical really isn't it. We play them in the first game of the season when they're buzzing with a new manager, don't play them while they couldn't beat a team of kids and have to play them again with another new manager.

They've played some decent football and got some good results and i think they were somewhat underrated earlier in the season.

I'll downgrade it to good and pay closer attn to adjectives going forward.

I thought he was doing a decent job there. Great start to the season. Form has dipped but that was to be expected.

One win in their last 10, lost to Swansea recently. I think they made the right decision. He clearly hadn't been able to get the team playing again since the Everton approach. If our manager had flirted with another team and then performance had dipped people would be calling for their head. Also in recent times their football has been hideous too from what little I have seen.

Looking through that Watford forum, it's understandable why they sacked him. From the outside, it appears mad, but from their thread, it sums up why they did it, and why it makes sense for all involved.

Is this a case of a manager downing tools then...? I'm surprised more don't do it given how readily they get offered another gig after their contract has been paid in full.

That statement basically blaming Everton's approach is quite something. Watford will look forward to home games against them if they're not in the Championship next year.
