Seems a good guy but it’s realistically the only card Huddersfield have left.

Feel sorry for Wagner as it seems he was a victim of his own success, in keeping them up last year they were punching above their weight, but the that fact is largely overlooked when the new season started. I guess it's just the way football is now.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah, the fans are absolutely gutted about him leaving, seems like a top bloke. Hope he gets another good job in England.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostFeel sorry for Wagner as it seems he was a victim of his own success, in keeping them up last year they were punching above their weight, but the that fact is largely overlooked when the new season started. He was part of his staff at Dortmund and the best man at his wedding - we were linked to him in a coaching capacity but he took over at Huddersfield....I'd say his coaching days are over now and will go back into managementOriginally posted by peterbread View PostDidn’t Klopp want to bring him in to work at the acedemy of somewhere before he went there? Didn’t he work with him at Dortmund?

It's possible he'd join us for a year or so if he doesn't like the opportunities he's presented with. Working with top players, a top club (possible Premier League champions), just to raise his stock a bit further.
You do get some weird things happening in football. I mean, you had Pulis and Megson at West Brom, Villas Boas and Di Matteo at Chelsea, Rodgers and O'Driscoll with us. I know Megson, Di Mattteo and O'Driscoll were looking to rebuild their reputations, whereas Wagner will be looking for a step up the ladder, so maybe not the best examples to use!
It's very unlikely IMO, but not impossible.

Previously sacked manager set to return.
"Leonardo Jardim still lives in Monaco and sees the players in the street when he goes to the bakery. He's the favourite to replace Henry. He had amazing results, winning the league in 2017, before this season when things didn't go well for the team."
Oh I don't know.
