And the thing is with a huge spend they will not turn it around. The defence needs 2-3 top class players, the midfield 3 or 4, and the attack could do some bulking up - they really only have Rooney and Van Persie.

Even if they bin off Moyes (How sweet will it be when he is the first Utd. Manager sacked in nearly thirty years) I can see them struggle to get into the top four this year - especially as they are already 7-9 points behind as it stands.

Hell they are closer to relegation at this stage then the top.
