Some nice stuff from Sunderland, always risky playing it round the back when in transition (as we found out) but to be fair they're pulling it off and creating attacks from playing out.

He has looked good on occasion but he looks to be missing something in terms of determination when I have seen him. At the minute he doesn't look to have the attitude to be a PL success - obviously still young and early in his career though so could adapt in time.

In general I think it looks like all of Spurs purchases were over rated by people.

He has looked decent in games where he was given a bit of time and space. I think he is a clever player capable of threading some intelligent passes in the final third. However he will have to adapt to the pace of the PL though.

I think he will come good but of course the fact that he was whoring himself to every club in Europe in the last two transfer window and no one wanted to buy him even at a reduced price says something though.

As for Lamela this summer I watched Chelsea vs Roma pre-season game in Washington DC. He was very very unimpressive in that game.
