    LMFAO

Top 4 contenders my arse. I hope this ends up 8 or 10

Spurs fans will be calling for AVB's head soon when they should be asking why they sacked Redknapp, sold Bale and didn't replace the loss of goals.

"a test of the Spurs player's characters" - WTF is Alan Smith on about? No top team should be 5-0 down before the hour. They looked defeated at 2-0 never mind with this humilating score line.

Now if United could drop points at Cardiff, my day would be complete.

Lamela NOT subbed? He must be trying to show Baldini how wrong he was to buy him!

              Has Adebayor touched the ball?

Lol. In the long run they did buy some decent players, but they also seemed very naive in how they spent the Bale money - a bit like we were when we spent the Torres windfall. The attitude that so much money had been made through selling Bale that overpaying for the likes of Soldado & Lamela wouldn't matter was very short-termist and a bit like Levy, AVB and Baldini were playing Football Manager. Fans of other clubs were impressed because it was a lot of fancy names from foreign leagues with big reputations who they probably hadn't seen play all that much, but in reality some of those were always going to take real time to settle and others simply wouldn't work out.

It would be nice to think that given the contrast between how some of Spurs' signings are currently working out, and how say, Sturridge has for us (a player many turned their noses up at before he joined) would slightly temper the view of some fans about how we should be conducting our transfer business in future... but I'm sure it won't
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

When City sort out their away form the rest of the league can forget about the title.

                    Bored now, want a 6th.
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

If Kompany doesn't sort himself out then they'll keep having problems away from home. The SAS could tear their backline apart.

Tottenham have fallen behind Newcastle as a result of this. Joe Kinnear and Alan Pardew ahead of £100m worth of purchases.

I look back at how massively against the Sturridge signing I was and it makes me never want to doubt us signing a player again.

I am surprised about how poor Spurs' new signings have been, I really thought Soldado would get goals and Lemela would replace some of the creation that they lost without Bale.

I think their only real success has been Paulinho. And they even overpaid for him.

Why they through money at the likes of Chadli and Chriches(sp?) I'll never know!

I don't think its the players. For me, AVB is their problem. He is a poor manager

I'd destroy both the midfielders Spurs have wasted money on and I'm a championship player. Albeit, an exceptional one...

I wonder how many of his fans on here jumped on the Sky bandwagon of accusing Rafa of being too negative.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
