Kompany, Yaya, Silva and Aguero would appear to be their crucial players, but then they're destroying Spurs today without 2 of those. I agree that they'll keep dropping random points away from home especially unless they get Kompany fit and on form at the back, which means I think it'll be touch and go in the end between them, Arsenal and Chelsea for the title.... with us 4th ahead of Spurs and Utd

Mr Bean standing on the touchline for spurs there.

Till Spurs sort themselves either a consistent leader or point of attack in their team, then I just don't see them as a threat. They have neither at the moment and not sure if they can fix that in January.

Man Utd: De Gea; Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Fellaini, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Januzaj; Hernandez #SSN
I look at that team and can't help but think our first team is so much better.

Spurs fans weren't happy with AVB prior to today's game.

Be interesting to see what reception he get's next home game.

Spurs are dog****. They have massive problems throughout the team. No way will they be a threat for a CL spot.

Lamela with an abysmal step over attempt and then City go up the field and finish the humiliation

You could be right, although I think it is partially the players, at least the mix of them. He has no idea of his best attacking lineup because they bought so many players, almost all of them unproven in one way or other and none of them with experience in this league. Plenty of good players have failed to adapt to English life / footy, especially as quickly as Spurs situation has sort-of demanded they do (they arguably need CL qualification more than we do). AVB has not done a great job blending them into a cohesive unit but imo the acquisition policy has made that extremely difficult for him (and I just don't know how much of that is his fault rather than Levy/Baldini's).

AVB looked even more lost than Bodgson did in charge of us at the end

Thats a fair point. But he works with these players every day and he should know what his best line up is and how to get the best out of them

Spurs players today seemed about a second or more behind the Citeh players in their thought process, even when it came to deal with or control a simple bouncing ball at their feet it was like they were playing in slow motion, letting a Citeh player nip in so often it was embarrassing to watch.
