Don't know then. I haven't had to do it for quite some time but the last time I did that's the route I went. Report as offensive or abusive and then explain who it was abusive to. Maybe it's changed.

As I said earlier in this thread (or the general twitter thread if it was posted there).... Its the 4th Tweet her sent this year. I'm inclined to believe him. 2 of the 3 previous tweets appeared to be charity orientated so he's hardly using it to show off his blingy lifestyle or talking ****ing wittering ****e like Rio Ferdinand used to.

You believe he managed to send a tweet when his phone was in his pocket and he was driving?

He may not have meant to send it to the whole twittersphere but that excuse is along the same lines as the dog ate my homework.

I've put my phone in my pocket when getting in the car after work and got it out my pocket at home to find it ready to share a news story. Its not beyond possibility a picture got to that stage and then actually shared.

I belive it is entirely possible. Maybe he had the picture open on his phone when he put it in his pocket? Like I say I have nearly inadvertantly pocket-shared things before. I HAVE manage to dial from my pocket without intending to.

For the record, looking further into his tweet history. He has been on twitter for 4 years and the car was the 100th image/video he had posted. It was the first time he has ever simply posted an image with no attached comment. He has tweeted twice as many pictures of him playing scrabble as he has of cars. In fact he has tweeted twice as many pictures of him playing scrabble as he has of anything flash/expensive/blingy.

So yes, given his tweeting history I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and trust he is being honest in claiming it posted accidentally rather than think he is a smug ****ing **** because he's a footballer and its cool to think they are smug overpaid ****s detached from reality.
