Good news for David Luiz: Fifa have suspended Barca's transfer ban until appeal is heard. So they can sign players this summer.

            Yes.

Then it's just the face that needs photoshopping, saving Barcelona a fortune by recycling existing memorabilia.

You can't photoshop a face onto a real life person Muds, that's not how it works.

However, those little borrowers that talk to you and live inside your magic 'telly' box definitely are real, so all is not lost.

Just listening to Martin Lipton on Talk****e going off on one about Maureen and his 'conspiracy' theories... fair play to the man - he's talking absolute sense...

Would post a link but wouldn't know where to look... :-)

Canaries fans are so displeased with the club's disappointing season that 40-year-old Nash is the likely (yet unlikely) recipient of the award

Fed up Norwich fans have made a farce of the club's "Player of the Season" award as a protest against their side's dismal form this season.

Supporters of the relegation threatened Canaries have hijacked the voting to put third choice goalkeeper Carlo Nash in pole position for the prize.

Veteran former Everton and Manchester City keeper Nash, 40, has not made a single appearance for Norwich since being signed on a free transfer from Stoke last summer.

Scotland winger Robert Snodgrass and Swedish left back Martin Olsson were considered the favourites to lift the award, which has been won in recent seasons by central defender Seb Bassong and striker Grant Holt.

Thousands of votes have so far been cast for the competition via post, e mail and Twitter, with Nash currently holding a narrow lead.

A victory for Nash would leave Norwich facing a huge embarrassment when the trophy is presented before the final home game of the season against Arsenal on May 11th.

But Nash is refusing to play ball and has already confirmed : "I would have to graciously decline it and of course give it to someone who has earned it."

Government rejects petition calling for former Leicester City striker Emile Heskey to be knighted

The Government has rejected a petition calling for former Leicester City striker Emile Heskey to be knighted for services to football.

Fan Daniel McCarthy launched the petition on the 10 Downing Street website last month.

He has called for the 36-year-old, who now plays for Australian side Newcastle Jets, to be given a knighthood for his services to the English game.

Daniel’s appeal, to the Department of Culture Media and Sport, said: “Emile has changed the way the game is played.

“He is an experienced, well-loved and all round genius player.”

It said Heskey, who has scored seven goals for England, had been an inspirational player at Leicester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Wigan, and Aston Villa.”

Whitehall officials dismissed the petition saying those about honours and appointments were excluded from consideration under the rules.

I assume Swansea are trying to do things on the cheap in the hope they can just finish 17th or better every season then? Bony should be heading for the exit as soon as possible.
