                        Just watched a few YouTube clips of Glenn Hoddle. Different era of football, and the video clips aren't great quality (and some of the pitches were terrible), but **** me Hoddle was some player. Balance, strength, vision, short passes, long passes, left foot, right foot, good in the air... brilliant! Lots of 'great' players from the 80s would struggle in today's game, but Hoddle would fit right in, and he would be considered a great player.

                            He was my favourite non-LFC player by a mile. Insane that he got so few England caps. He was a majestic footballer.
