Its just you'd expect the three finalists for the Puskas award to be there, seeing as it needs to be collected........probably Rodriquez to win anyway, certainly ahead of VanPersie's goal, even if Roche's goal could have collected more 'friendly' votes.

ah right, best goal award. sorry I thought I must of been missing something. If I was a footballer, I wouldn't attend any of these events. That's just me though.

Not sure James Rodriguez deserved the FIFA goal of the year thought the Roache goal should have won it

Not so sure Roche should definitely have won it (completely on quality), but she was probably as deserving as the one that did.
It was a lovely goal, no doubt about it, but the competition is very much a 'popular' thing with lots of re-voting etc etc. Of course, that's true for Rodriquez' as well, but there was very much a movement for Roche's goal to be voted on regardless of it's quality in some quarters. Wouldn't even surprise me if it garnered more votes than the eventual winner TBH.
Still, fair play to her.

Would have had Neuer as Player of the Year IMO. Once again, the award is always predictable. God forbid a keeper should win it !
