Tuchel has gone from Dortmund. Seems to have had the wheels come off from when we beat them last season, to then losing his 3 best players in the Summer.

Shame, because I thought he had them playing some really fun football the odd game I watched of them.

Maybe something to do with Aubameyang leaving this summer? They've signed a lot of talented players but the majority are really young, it must be difficult working in those circumstances.

From a few reports I've read he seems to be considered a bit of a tinker man as well. Not really bothered following Dortmund lately, but I read today Reus has torn his cruciate as well, at 28 that's him pretty much done.

From reading more into it, it seems like a fallout with the Chairman. A player or two was signed without his approval ect.

He won them their first silverware in 5 years though, which is surprising. I guess Klopp getting them close, didn't actually equate to winning things.

I wonder if this will improve our chances of getting Pulisic?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

            s.
He did win back to back leagues though.

Ya - after they signed Isak he said it was the first he heard about it and there have been other clashes. He seems very principled so fair play to him for sticking to his guns. Be interesting to see where he goes (Leverkusen maybe) as he had Dortmund playing superbly again.

Yeah, just surprised it had been so long since they last won something. He got to that Champions League Final and I think that skews my perception.

                  Wouldn't you rather have Dembele?

I hardly know any players outside of PL, so just want us to sign the ones Klopp is keen on.

Dembele is already far more progressed than Pulisic. Everyone has been caught up talking about Mbappe but Dembele is going to be a proper superstar too in my point of view.

On a side note - the French NT is going to be unbelievable in a few years... All of these guys are under the age of 25.

                      Dembele
                      Mbappe
                      Bakayoko
                      Mendy
                      Pogba

There were a lot of graphics going around on this after Mbappe and Dembele broke through - had a quick look and this was the best I could see.

To be honest you can take a load of them players off as they are well past their sell by date. Sagna and clichy for starters. It's just naming players for the sake of it. Pointless.

The graphic does show too many players I agree but they list almost 50 players and I'd say around 9 are past it so the odds are still well in their favour

Mandana, Sagna, Rami, Clichy, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Gignac, Gameiro & Giroud.

They also omitted a few others who are about to make the step up - Lucas Hernandez, Theo Hernandez, Clément Lenglet, Malang Sarr (all defenders mind) and not forgetting........................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ....................Anthony Le tallec & Florent Sinama Pongolle

Their goalie is a bit of a tit though
