Ferguson has to take responsibility for that. He bought him when he was one of the best young attacking midfielders in the world and converted him into a dull central midfielder. Sometimes these things make sense and some central midfielders do start their careers as wingers or attacking mids, like Schweinsteiger. But always thought Anderson was very poorly handled. Nani on the other hand is/was a fraud.
