The fact that there has been no statement from the club and owners saying they are fine leads me to believe it's going to be bad. After all If this was me I'd want people to know right away I was fine. I hope that's not the case though.

One witness says he saw Kasper Schmeichel run towards the crash...i hope that was after it exploded and not before, or he could have been caught up too.

The lack of information is quite startling in this day and age.

Schmeichel and the police sound extremely courageous to have approached the helicopter

the reports I read, That he was in tears in the car park so thankfully he is ok, As others have said can't see anything but bad news for the rest. It would be a miracle if no-one else was hurt other than those on board looked a right mess.

Absolutely awful news, how sad. I remember when Colin McRae died in a similar incident. Really sad.

Colin McRae was a ****ing idiot mate. He didn't even have his pilots licence at the time and was dicking about with low level manoeuvres and ended up crashing. Killed himself but took others with him as a result of his own stupidity.

                      Very sad and easily avoided.

Payne Stewart's death was really sad too. Lost cabin pressure and the whole crew died but the plane was on auto pilot so carried on flying for hours

Reminded me of Chelsea Vice Chairman Matthew Harding, also in a helicopter returning from a football match.

I remember that. It ended up flying until it ran out of fuel. A fighter jet was scrambled and the pilot said he saw the plane with the windows all frosted up and knew at that moment everyone on board was dead.

Just hope they were knocked unconscious as soon as the lost pressure so didn't know a thing.
