The FA cup was always a magical competition. Semi finals played at a neutral ground, the build up to the match on final day, old Wembley it was fantastic.

Been ruined now though and it started when the Manc ****s were allowed to pull out of it.

Disagree on when it went downhill, probably when the CL got bigger than leagues/cups IMO.

Totally different competition these days, sadly. Used to be a real highlight of the season and Cup Final day was special no matter who was playing.

Also agree. He's 28, possibly past his best, seems fairly limited in terms of what systems he can fit into, and came across as a right **** with all that 'The Decision' bull****. Let someone else have him.

He's a great player. And a great ****.

We don't generally buy 28yo ****s that want about half a million a week though and i reckon he's nailed on for Barca anyway.

Sky will know the competition is in poor shape and not going to get more people subscribing, and that's all they care about.

It'll be well watched on free TV simply because it's free. Unusual for ITV and BBC to be sharing something that isn't considered one of the crown jewels events like the WC or the Euros.
