I weighed just over 8 stone in my 20s. I would suggest size affects how big the pitch would seem to you and how much stored energy you have. I could run intensly for short bursts, but sprinting from one end of the pitch to the other with the ball I found really knackering so I would almost never dribble. Playing on a smaller size pitch was much more enjoyable for me as I could sprint past players and still be able to do something afterwards. You also have to run further to track the other team. I would also suggest both Messi and Salah would still have dwarfed me on the pitch.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Post
