@froztarn @R_Fredriksson I'd tried my level best to translate his quotes which were in Ukrainian language.

Dnipro President: "If Spurs want Konoplyanka, I'd happily sell. London life is better than Liverpool. Spurs' interest is strong & advanced"

Dnipro President: "Konoplyanka? Liverpool was just some representatives talking on the phone. Talks with Spurs is entirely on another level"

Dnipro President: "I'm talking with Tottenham President. He wants Konoplyanka. We're negotiating & may even be close to signing a contract"

Dnipro President: "Konoplyanka to #LFC failed due to technical reasons. I'm ready to let any player leave; we can't break his sports career"

Dnipro President: "I talked with Konoplyanka. Of course, he had regrets, but [move to Liverpool] failed purely due to technical reasons"

Their president is coming across as desperate in those quotes.

Left Ayre and a load of people hanging in a room whilst he ****ed off trying to **** us over. Wouldnt be surprised if Spurs were in on it too to leave us short. Its the sort of thing they did with Bale trying to stop Arsenal getting Ozil

what does it say about the player going to spurs,No ambition or totally controlled by the selling club...all bollox imo about a deal being done with spurs

An interesting point. Hasn't Levy got form with something similar?

I'm sure he tried to **** somebody over another transfer, but I can't for the life of me think which one it was.

Konop's in his last year at the club right? Its in his hands entirely. Going to Spurs would show his lack of ambition/courage. We need players with both from now on in.

Not that bothered about him - personally I would love us to go back for Mkhitaryan. He would fit our system perfectly.

Can he play on either side / is flexible? I guess so as we were in for him at the start of the season. Think that's what Rodgers want and why we didn't go for Mata for example.
                  Are we winning?

Yes, he can. He is quality and would really give us another edge.

I'm sure Konoplyanka will enjoy Thursday nigh football at the lane next season.

They are trying to create a bidding war and have someone pay more than we should given how little he'll have left on his contract when this season is over.

I like him but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we miss out on him.

Us hopefully getting in CL will open many, many doors that were closed in the past and we'll have much better group of players to consider than we were able to in last 4 seasons.

If you believe the rumours he tried it on Arsenal a couple times. Delayed sales to Madrid so Madrid wouldnt sell players to Arsenal

Id be setting sights a bit higher than Konop in the Summer if we make CL.

I think he is well good enough to come and he won't be offered pop star wages, it is just a case of convincing him to come. We won't have a chance if we don't move soon.

Micky Ryan was already on a Dortmund training regime and diet before we even showed an interest. Dortmund get access to their future signings (like Bayern do) long before the season is over, the transfer window is to sign the long time agreed contract, not the time to start negotiations.

So would Konoplyanka! Fast as ****, very skilful, brilliant dribbler, can spot a pass, ace set pieces...he'd fit us like a glove.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
