People will continue to make excuses by saying things like "we are not privvy to the deal" etc etc, it's a cop out. We really have to look at our strategy going forward. I have no problem having a transfer committee so long as we have people on it who are competent in their jobs. We're a shambles and I couldn't careless if people say my reaction is knee jerk. Seriously? Loads of big clubs commonly struture deals so everything isn't cash up front, Real Madrid being a notable example. Plus if we the previously posted stuff about FFP is true then we simply can't do it any other way. Would you prefer it if we weren't trying to sign someone good?
