I'd hate to stunt his growth but assuming we make the CL next season we can easily accommodate Konoplyanka into the squad and still ensure all our attackers get enough playing time.

We need some depth and at a decent level if we're going to be able to give the CL and the league a good go next season.

They are both very good wingers with tons of potential but they are quite different in their style.

You need diversity and competition for top positions and Kono's addition would do just that.

in a better team, with quality players that would take some of the pressure off him he'd be even more dangerous. every time he got the ball yesterday, he showed class

The Merseysiders have been keeping close tabs on the Ukraine international for some time now, with the Reds even coming desperately close to signing the 24-year-old in the January transfer market.

However, after days of face-to-face negotiations with the Ukrainian outfit, Dnipro then suddenly raised their asking price for Konoplyanka right at the very last minute, and so leading to the collapse of the deal, although it was still expected that Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers would return for the player at the end of the campaign.
