Damien Duff is poised to move to Australia and become the first major signing for the club bought by Manchester City's owners.
The 35-year-old former Ireland international, who last week announced his decision to quit relegated Fulham, will finalise his move to Melbourne City (formerly Melbourne Heart) after the World Cup finals.
Lampard supposedly on the way, too. If MLS is going to be a retirement home, I'd rather head to the Bronx than schlep to NJ to watch Henry dog it for 85 minutes a match...

Brede Hangeland has been released by Fulham. Only 22 appearances last season so I don't know if he fell out of favour or if he was injured. Could be useful squaddie?
He was decent when he first joined Fulham but he's way past his best, error-prone, picks up injuries and makes Mertesaker look like Usain Bolt.
I guess he must be on pretty big money for Fulham to let him go with a year left on his contract. I thought he might be an improvement on Kolo but I haven't seen him play all that much.
