Looks like Ravel Morrison's move to Lazio on a free in the summer may be back on.

It was put on hold until the outcome of the three assault charges against him.


His ex and her mother had claimed that he committed a number of assaults and had thrown acid at the ex. When CCTV footage was found that showed he had not touched his ex and instead she had thrown herself to the ground and pretended to have been attacked by him.

Her mother, who was a witness to the supposed assault, has amazingly now decided to withdraw her previous statement, the same statement that she was adamant was the truth. And the daughter has been caught out by the CCTV.


A not guilty verdict was granted after the CCTV footage meant there was no evidence to charge Morrison.


He is a lucky boy as his past record could have gone against him had that CCTV footage not surfaced, but his ex and her mother really should be taken to task through the courts for providing false statements and for making false claims about the assaults. Smacks of a nasty attempt to either ruin his life or extort money from him, maybe even both.
