Yes they are - but I wouldn't design a football stadium like one

Look at the Cardinals Stadium; the home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.... The exterior of the stadium is comprised of metal panel and glass in a form resembling both a barrel cactus and a coiled snake – two shapes very true to the stadium’s desert surroundings. They haven't stuck a giant snakes head on the side...



But if you like it then that's cool....

It's a bit too subtle for the American public though

Never understood or watched any MLB. But it appeals to me in the same way Cricket does.

It'll be incredible when it's done; it's in a real state of decay at the moment - went on the tour last year & the guide was telling us how it's falling apart in areas; some parts of the concrete stands have had to be securely propped up

I read elsewhere the current sponsors are looking to stump up £300m over 20 years to have their name on it. Who knows if that is realistic.

I went about ten years ago and it was crumbling then so work definitely needs to be carried out. It’s one of the most iconic stadiums in the world, so glad that it is remaining.

Just watched the video - that seems massively ambitious to build it over 4 seasons without moving stadium. Can’t see it.

Also Shane they have put a lid on it. I love the fact that it is exposed to the elements.

Yeah totally doable. It's like a massive version of what we did with the main stand.

In fact, Barca consulted the LFC group / engineers on how best to do it.
