There’s contact but if a player went down every time there was minimal contact like that we’d all go & watch cricket or rugby instead. The game is going so soft & it’s up to the officials to stamp it out.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.Comment

If the defender wraps his leg around the attacker then he's handing him a free penalty, so he's let himself fall and its a pen.
If the defender had of managed to play the ball then it's not a foul.
The piss weak ref trying to explain it away, all about backing up city, they are all taking the cash.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Not even a debate - remove the ****e splattered (opposite of rose tinted?) specs with regards to the shirt he is wearing. Solid contact nowhere near the ball in the box whilst player running at speed = pen all day long.Modifying post.Comment

The problem is players have to go down now to have any chance of getting the call even if it is a foul. This one is a foul, for me it's clear that he makes contact with the player, impedes him and gets nowhere near the ball.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment
