I think he'd be mad to jump straight to Madrid, he'd get to be around great players but they're too bat **** mental in the transfer market. Signed Bale for £80m in the summer and there are plenty of reports going around that he might be moved on in the summer even though he's a bit of a fan favourite.

If I were him it would be incredibly tempting to go to Bayern, mainly to play under Guardiola but having said that by the time he's ready to break through he may not even be there. He burnt out at Barca pretty quickly.

Martin Ødegaard (16) has landed in Madrid - again. VG are told that he should be close to a transition to what many believe is the world's biggest club, Real Madrid.

Sources at Rygge airport says that private aircraft with the world's most coveted football teenager, Dad Hans Erik (40) and agent Tore Pedersen (45) took off in 19.30 on Tuesday evening. More than three hours later, the Norwegian delegation have landed in Madrid.

Fits in A squad
After that VG knows the goal of the trip to agree on a transition to giant club. Martin Ødegaard be envisioned a place in the A squad immediately, almost with the promise of playing time. Shirt number 16 should already be printed with Ødegaard names to show how intensely Real Madrid wants frame rising.

Madrid is probably the worst move he can make at this stage of his career. He will be very quickly forgotten if he goes there and will probably end up back in Norway within 3 or 4 years.
