They're not very good with the ball either. They have some pace on the counter though, with Chamberlain and Sterling.

It wasn't an excellent tackle by any stretch. It was rash. Didn't deserve a red; probably a yellow in hindsight.

I thought there was a difference if games were official or unofficial friendlies (I can't remember the actual wording), I assumed as friendlies count in international ranking these would be official and there would be bans for sendings off. Pre-season friendlies count as unofficial games so hence players weren't banned, that was how I understood, but this was the situations years ago, it has probably changed now.

Rightly or wrongly the Bodge will give him a decent amount of game time.

Can't believe Sterling got a red for that. Ball first. Valencia should have had 2 straight reds by comparison. Pushing and looking for a fight, two hands around the throat, nothing to even think about friendly or not.
