Not at all. They been with the squad all this time and have trained with them, so its extremely fair of him to involve them. Basically he's blooding them for the future without any pressure on them. Plus it means he's able to save a few of the others from picking up niggles etc.

Also they are both on the standby list, so should someone get injured they could be called up for the world cup and as both were uncapped it made sense to give them a game now incase something does happen they aren't making international debuts in the world cup.

Excellent management. There will be plenty of reasons to knock the hodge in the coming weeks, this isn't one of them.

see this is the reason the game has gone as it has when even fans of players involved still want to justify a **** referring decision. I get FIFA being idiots. But he got the ball, anything else should not matter. They used to give attacking players the benefit of the doubt since tackling isn't their game, of course they can mistime, they are human, the intent was clearly to get the ball, he did and then went on to clatter Valencia. he's young this should always be taken in account. yet now we want to send players off for **** all. It is supposed to be a contact sport. Until they ban tackling, it should be viewed by all fans in the same eyes. That was never ever in a million ****ing years a tackle worthy of a red card. Anybody disagreeing should be lined up and flogged on tv for our fun and amusement.

Why? Because I think it was a silly tackle I am basically a Manc fan? Its just my opinion. I am a little annoyed that its being suggested that I cant question his decision on the pitch for that reason.

Ive looked again and its not as bad as first look, but his trailing leg smashed into him, so it was reckless.

As Bob said though, he is young and an attacker. So maybe some leniency was needed. I also said it was probably a yellow. Which is not like I was claiming it was a red card.
