Thats proper weird when you think of his last 10 years or so where he's a big, dirty, elbowing, yard dog who can barely move but he was closer to a Ryan Giggs than a Duncan Ferguson when he come through. Strange!

2006. Lazio were pretty **** then, best players were Rocchi and Oddo. Just missed Di Canio who left a few months before, they spent half the game chanting about him though so he's mega popular.

Roma had Panucci, Mancini etc aswell as Totti and co. I wanna go again but they keep moving them to daytimes now and it's just not the same as a night one.

England v Holland in Euro 96. My only ever England game. We had beers in Liverpool Street station and got face painted by some lovely Dutch girls, went to a great match, more beers and ended up in Brown's strip club. The stripper took my bottle as a prop, my best day ever. Marriage etc included

                      Coventry 2 Chelsea 2 from about 1995.

Can't remember anything about the game but it's the only time I've ever been in a corporate box at a football match and I made the most of it.

Slovenia - Ukraine 99', Slovenia - Romania 01', two crucial play-off wins in our first EURO and WC tournament qualification. Both marked by incredible (fluky) goals.

The other one was from the halfway line something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

There's only been two non-Liverpool matches that I've attended. Wales v Norway at Anfield around 99/00 and an FA Cup tie at Loftus Road, Fulham v West Ham. Both pretty terrible games, I suppose the latter being marginally the better of the two. Wales at the time could barely string together more than a couple of passes before losing the ball.

This match was amazing. It is meaningless, but so much fun. Beckham arrives in NYC...

The Arsenal Newcastle 4-4 from a few years back was a good one, cost me 3 grand on a bet though...

Dear me, questionable goalkeeping in every one of those 9! (LA v NY RB's)
