Picking my team now. Picked about 11 players - had about 12 players still to pick and had no money left FFS. Impossible picking this ****er.

This game has some silly rules.

23 man squad but you only score points for 11 and have unlimited transfers between each round of games. You can switch players within your squad/team while a round is ongoing but not once they play. So what's the point of the huge squad? Unless I'm reading it wrong you might as treat it as not much more than an 11 man game.

Then there's the points. 1 point for every 2 balls into the box? Aimless crossing ftw! Points for blocked shots and 'recovered balls?. That sort of **** gets very random IMO.

Done mine. Good first team, one playable reserve in each position and a bunch of Iranians.

Took a bit of tweaking but ended up with 3 from Brazil/Argentina 2 from Swiss/Bosnia and German plus 3 adequate subs

I've clicked the link and then clicked 'Join League' but when I go on my leagues it is blank - does the league owner have to accept you or do you have to create a team first? (I've only just registered)

I think you CANNOT make any transfers in the Group stages, then when teams get eliminated, you get unlimited transfers for each round. Also, I think day by day, in Group stages you can add players in and out, change formation, etc, for the forthcoming games (Round 1, Round 2, Round 3).

Also, let's stay you start a player and they do nothing, you can swap in unplayed players for that round and roll the dice that they will surpass the other player, etc. Swapping players is a good reason to have more than a great 11...
