TBF it's not the first piece John Oliver has done on Fifa. And it's not exactly supposed to be cutting edge investigative journalism, it's infotainment.

I'd like him to go in that he's a corrupt ****. However its this bandwagon jumping I hate more. All and sundry are jumping aboard to voice their two pence worth. Once he's gone nearly everyone will disperse and carry on as before. The journalists are having a field day,yet they haven't had to investigate ****, its all been done for them. So ultimately south Africa bought a world cup. Corrupt **** goes on in big organisations and local councils all the time.

This is all true, but i think for average people it's directly linked to a game they love watching and paying for, so i think that's where people's interest comes, and why they comment.

I must be in a small minority that doesn't care whether Blatter stays or not. He doesn't affect my life in any way. I have to admire his determination to be fair. He's a cunt but so are many people.

and would he want to take uefa out of fifa as it could have an effect on a future plans he might have for running for head of fifa?

I'd love to see how he would try to prevent players from around the world playing in European leagues if it ever come to that. I'd love to see him try enforce that. He's so deluded though that he'd probably think he could pull it off. Try force all the teams in Europe to release none eu players and then tell those players the need to play somewhere else.

If UEFA is in a position where it no longer recognised FIFA as governing body then they'll just ignore them.
