Love the guy but i doubt the last two matches will be ones he'll be putting in his memoirs. He's just seems a different player, like Rooney when they play at international level.

I think he was the best player on the pitch in the first half today. Not great in the second.

More or less this.......Gerrard been well under par these two matches. Not able to do the job asked of him against Italy, and tonight contributed very little with the ball, never mind the two goals.
He's not alone though, some ****e out there.
He'll be back doing his real job for us next season. Of that I am sure.
