I think the only way we can be interested if Suarez is defo going. Our interest in him is a definite sign we are selling Suarez.

I hope that is not the case but personally I have to agree.

If Suarez was to leave I don't think we could do any better than signing this lad, quite a few players suffer at Barcelona and don't stand out due to the amount of quality around them added to the fact everything goes through and is designed to get the most out of Messi.

        At Udinese he was phenomenal.

Not too many players would be able to make up for the loss of Luis, if that happens, but he comes pretty close.

In the right system with the right players around him he could be lethal.

Really don't understand that Barca is even entertaining the idea of selling him.

I think a year ago, I was against us going for Sanchez, because he struggled to cope in a possession based style at Barcelona. However, last season, we saw under Martino a more counter attacking system, a more explosive player who can use and create space.

Our style of play last season is perfect for him, and he'd be great in a pressing system, which I imagine will be part of Rodgers' next phase of evolution for the team.

If he'd improve his defensive skills somewhat and his work rate little bit more he has potential to be one of the world's best.

According to Tony Barrett it appears we want 85m for Luis or 50m + Sanchez.

                  That would do.

Is Sanchez a £35m player, really?

Just can't see Suarez staying. Just hope we get the right players in & don't do what Spurs did.

Hate this comparison. - better than Downing though
