Mandzukic won't swap the Bayerns bench for Liverpools. Sturridge is a more complete striker who has more talent imo.

People are complaining about the notion of a Remy being a back up but its an impossible situation unless you are a Man city, who often tempt quality players to their bench with lots of money or a barcelona, which 99% of players simply can't resist giving a shot.

Liverpool can't afford a top top drawer striker to be back up and i doubt any would want to be, its often contradictory to what makes them top professionals i think. Not an easy situation to solve.

In attacking terms, this team should be spearheaded by Sturridge now that Suarez is leaving.

I actually think that Özil faded at least in part because of the injuries and loss of form of Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain. With good wide players outside him I think he'll become a Bergkamp figure. Sanchez would seem an excellent addition to a side looking to recreate the great Wenger sides.
