needing strenght in depth, i think Bertrand would be a good shout. He just waited too long to leave that shower of ****e - if this was 2 seasons ago, we would have thought that we were signing the england left back of the next 10 years. If he is motivated enough - and has the right character - then i would be in favour of it.
People say "Brendan deserves to get his man" in the case of Lallana. Rodgers would know Bertrand well from Chelsea so i would be very comfortable with it for the right fee....
I can see us getting rid of Enrique. Rodgers didnt seem impressed with him last year being out for the season. Am I right saying that he has one year left in his contract - if so it will be interesting to see what happens with both him and Glen Johnson. If Sakho is the only starting player of our defense from last season, then it could be a car crash early on.... especially in the CL

how many great full backs are there going around now though? Seems they all have massive flaws these days."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Young McLaughlin looked very good last season, hopefully Brendog thinks the same, should be given a chance in the cups. Flanno should move over to rightback too.
A pity about Kelly and Wisdom, both don't look up to the job. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Is that true?! I thought he'd just been shoved there, probably against his will.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostVertonghen has it all to be one of the best CBs around but insists on playing left back as he rates himself too good for CB
I used to like him but he is one of the biggest snides in the league, if not the biggest. Cheating cunt too. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's what I heard the commentator say the other day so it might not be 100% true but it makes sense. Would explain why Spurs are playing their best CB on the left to make way for Kaboul and DawsonOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostIs that true?! Watching him last night, you can tell he fancies himself a bit and wants to get involved in the attacks.
