That solution though would make the most sense

The thought is sickening. The greed in it all is just disgusting.

Damaging the integrity of the game for cash.

Don't even start me on the amount of ****s given to the fans.

Too easy for some of us armchair fans to think playing competitive games overseas is a good idea.
        Another MASSIVE game

Devil's advocate here but we have to accept that the sport has global appeal and teams have global fanbase.

Is it terrible that those overseas fans get to see the team play in a proper match instead of a friendly or exhibition game?
          Football without Origi is nothing

If it's at the expense of the integrity of the competition, then yes - absolutely. It is 100% terrible.

            Otherwise, no.
            Oh I don't know.

Community Shield is a game that could be played anywhere on the planet, for example.
              Oh I don't know.

Or not played at all, with the same amount of people caring.

It would be wonderful to have a meaningful match for supporters in the US, Australia or Asia in general to attend in person.

Can you imagine an FA Cup 3rd round game at the MCG in Melbourne!

Obviously it would be great for all Aussies, but it would be shot for everyone else.

It's **** for everyone outside the UK every week though. Not saying that they should become globetrotters but one or two matches in various places would be a treat!

It's no more **** for you than it is for the 5m odd fans in this country who can't get a ticket.

If you want to watch some football, make the effort to come here and watch it, or go and watch some local teams.

I appreciate the clubs have a global fan base, but it is an English League, therefor the games should be played in the UK.

Doms suggestion is a decent compromise, but I suspect that it would lead to more and more demand for bigger and more important games played in different territories.

For the integrity of the leagu it has to stay as it is. I’m glad the Spanish players are making a stand on this.

Other than the Community Shield - you can have that.
