The thought is sickening. The greed in it all is just disgusting.Originally posted by Alex View PostThin end of the wedge this. Wont be long before a Prem Game is over there.
Im guessing it wont be any of their heavy hitters at the start though.
Damaging the integrity of the game for cash.
Don't even start me on the amount of ****s given to the fans.

If it's at the expense of the integrity of the competition, then yes - absolutely. It is 100% terrible.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostDevil's advocate here but we have to accept that the sport has global appeal and teams have global fanbase.
Is it terrible that those overseas fans get to see the team play in a proper match instead of a friendly or exhibition game?
Otherwise, no.Oh I don't know.

It's **** for everyone outside the UK every week though. Not saying that they should become globetrotters but one or two matches in various places would be a treat!Originally posted by Buzzo View Post

Obviously it would be great for all Aussies, but it would be shot for everyone else. Was muß, das muß.

I appreciate the clubs have a global fan base, but it is an English League, therefor the games should be played in the UK.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostIt's **** for everyone outside the UK every week though. Doms suggestion is a decent compromise, but I suspect that it would lead to more and more demand for bigger and more important games played in different territories.
For the integrity of the leagu it has to stay as it is. I’m glad the Spanish players are making a stand on this.
Other than the Community Shield - you can have that.Modifying post.
