                Liverpool.no says it's a two year loan deal, we can buy him for a fixed price of £5 mill, and Athletic have an option to buy him back, again for a fixed price said to be a bit higher than the £5 mill. Strange deal if true.

                      I guess that if he's a success here and we buy him he'll reject a move back. Unless the contract says he can't reject the move, but I'm not sure that would be legal.

                            Nope, not really. He's a cheap addition to the squad. He'll do a job and give Glen Johnson the platform to perform to his potential world class ability consistently. It's a signing which will please a lot of people.

                                Smart deal. If he turns out as good as we hope, we might be able to buy out Atletico's option. If they refuse to negotiate, then we would have had a better RB for 2 years and then have to buy a new RB for the price Atletico would want anyway.

                                Hopefully by then we won't have to buy 10 players in one window like now so would have more moola, as well as being a much more attractive, consistent option to other players.
