Great news, I can't count how many games Howard Webbsaknob ruined for me.

He was decent when he first come through for a bit, then turned complete ****. I suspect if he had hair his reputation would be nowhere near as good as what it got to. Good riddance to the useless cunt, another crap ref will probably come through now but at least we might benefit from said refs "human errors" this time.

Our record with him in the last 5 years was utterly horrific. Not a surprise really.

his seat at the top table to the right of dbf is assured.

maybe manure will give him a testimonial.

Best of a bad bunch. But I dont know what people expect, given that he is a human and prone to mistakes.
Just not let things like this happen without sufficient punishment. Along with the other 20 poor decisions in that match.

As great as this sounds, his new job is to train new ref's, all of whom will be trained to hate us.

Webb was a terrible ref, got to the top of his profession and made so many poor decisions once there that's hard to see it anything other than a good thing he's gone.

Prime example is the 2010 WC Final when he didn't send off De Jong because it would ruin the spectacle.

So then, he retires within one season of his mentor doing so. hmmm.

Bookies odds will have lengthened a bit at OT.

I often got the impression that he was reffing some theoretical match in his head rather than the actual one on the pitch.
