how many times has brendan big upped players saying he sees them every day, they are **** hot in training etc. still turn out and become invisible once they opposition are not playing for giggles.

i dont think it would save us a few quid to be honest. Even if Mario was the best striker we had ever seen in the next few weeks and months, then you still couldnt trust him to do it over a full season...... he might - but you couldnt bank on it.

I think with euro2016 at the end of this season, if he isnt going to be motivated to do it this year then he never will be. I remember him looking very good 4 years ago in the euros.

At the end of the day, if someone is going to give us £8m to take him, then the club would be silly not to take it. However, if a lesser offer came in (or even a loan move) then i would be tempted to keep him - even if it is just to play Europa league games....

I never wanted him from the first day. Made my views known fairly often before he joined and a bit after. Hadn't noticed his dad had died till now. Losing a family member can have a massive effect on someone. I'd like to see how he goes from now on. Italians have a solid family unit so I think he might want to do his fathers memory proud and lift his game. Could become far more physical.
