I actually saw glimpses of what Balotelli could bring to this team in the second half, very unlucky not to score a couple and we looked more of a threat with him on the pitch as part of a strike partnership, if partnered with a Sturridge I can see the pair of them scoring a lot of goals. Looked more of a threat in 45 minutes than lambert has looked all season

I found his performance incredibly frustrating because for half an hour he looked uninterested and did nothing then he had a couple of chances in the last 15 mins. He could and should have scored at least 1 and maybe even 3 goals, but his overall game is **** and with his goalscoring form he is as likely to do something stupid and get sent off as he is to score. People were saying that De Gea made some good saves but for me it was as much about Balotelli's finishing being poor. If his overall performance had been crap but he'd bagged a couple of goals I wouldn't be too bothered but if you have a striker that offers nothing to the general game and doesn't score goals well he's a waste of space.

It's not just Balotelli, a lot of players were doing it, and it's incredibly frustrating as most of them are blocked by the man directly in front of them, and even if they aren't blocked most of them are wild should that go well over or well wide

He pretty much just shoots from anywhere, no matter how ridiculous or how many defenders are infront of him. It doesn't matter if he's 35 years out and there are 3 opposition players charging at him to close down the space, once he's got it in his stupid head that he's going to shoot there is nothing that will stop him.

He's got talent......but his stupidity just keeps getting in the way
