    To be fair to him, he did get involved in the international setup as well so fair play to him I suppose. But it happens with some young players......they just don't develop until they move to an environment more 'compatible' with them. Was never going to do anything here.

    Pity he wasn't more successful in holding onto that hair of his.

            Not being high profile, but done well:

            Insua have done quite well, although not a striker...

            Brad Friedel I would argue have done well since leaving us, at least for his career.

                defo would have done better staying after leaving was it that good really, i mean he won 1 german title and 2 european footballer of the year thats about it as far as i can remember although he did increase his bank balance a fair bit.

                  Suarez will be the one to break the curse, Barcelona would be fools to let him go after a slow start. He will no doubt be unstoppable next season if they hold on to him
