Jaydon Sancho leaves utd on a free at the end of his contract, five years after joining for €85m, having not played for them for since the community shield in August 2024.

Konate has gone from £150k pw with us to potentially getting £400k pw which includes the £20m signing on bonus. You can see why players do it.

I'd say he's been a decent enough servant but agree we need better, Just a bit **** that we didn't get anything for him but that's on us

We need better than Konate, who although a specimen and good 1 vs 1 CB is poor technically, poor in possession, bit brainless and not quick off the mark.
I'm not too fussed about him leaving, although the timing isn't great and the fact it is for nothing is jarring. On his day he is a great defender and almost unbeatable, the problem is those games are few and far between and there are probably more game costing **** ups from his brain farts. I am however concerned about the lack of experience (VVD aside) that we have at CB now, an established partnership would have been a good foundation to go into the season with and then we could have brought in Jacquet and/or Leoni more slowly. Real in talks with Konate. I’d rather he goes there than the Prem as most ex players seem to have a blinder against us.

Yeah there won’t be too many clubs in for Isak you’d think. Only us & the Saudis have shown interest so I’m not sure a bidding war will be a problem. Hopefully he comes out & refuses the Saudis straight away leaving us to negotiate

Apropos of nothing, I just remembered Arsenal signed Nicolas Pepe, he's only 30.
