I keep forgetting Watford have sacked QSF, which makes it even more curious that they have turned down these big money moves. I wonder how much money will be made available to Mazzarri, as surely you'd think (rightly or wrongly) that he'd fancy his chances spending £30m+ on his own players than inheriting ones that may not even suit his system. Probably a good chance he'll only play one up top too.
Obviously today's market is crazy and it's not cheap to get a proven PL goal scorer, but surely someone like Cisse from Newcastle could be bought on the cheap to replace Ighalo and the rest of the money invested elsewhere.
