Mendy's replacement and would have been plenty good for us

Everton have signed Burnley and England defender Michael Keane for a fee that could rise to £30m.
                Lot of money that

Premier League spending seems to have gone up a notch this transfer window....

Silva looked dreadful in the Confeds but had a decent season, lot of money for him but might suit Serie A. Apart from Borini (who to be fair did well in Italy) they have done some great business.

They've bought well but a few punts:

Mussacchio had a really bad injury a couple of years back so let's see how his body holds up. Hakan C is just back from a 4 month ban and as you said Silva was a lot of money on a hot prospect.

Keisse and RR are the real bargains there.

                            Is that you, Bishop Brennan?
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

They have bought very well as a whole. The big money signing of Silva could work out very well in Italy but I really don't think much of him from what i have seen even before the Confeds. They will be a different prospect next season and seem to be getting a nice balance around the side. It's been a bit pathetic their fall from grace, what a history they have, the world beaters that have been through that club over the last few decades and they have just been making up the numbers in a very weak Serie A for years now. Be good to see them back competing.
