Come on we need to belittle this - 100m on Grealish is worse than 20m on Lallana but Grealish looks better

Grealish is clearly totally overrated at £100m. I don't think his numbers for final passes or goals scored is great. But yeah, he is the most fouled player in the league, maybe he is that good.

noone else compares to him at bringing the ball forward 30-40 yards into the box and unlocking defences, also winning a ridiculous amount of fouls. He'll do really well playing at City surrounded by quality players and opposition won't be able to focus on him alone with Kane, Debruyne, Foden, Mahrez knocking about

Kane will do well but more by brute force and a million shots than suiting their style. I'd be more concerned if they got Lukaku.

Until Lallana moved to Liverpool at about the same age that Grealish is potentially making the move to City, Lallana's numbers were on a par if not better than Grealish

Financially, it might be worth keeping the likes of Williams in the squad for the homegrown quota so we can avoid paying the English premium for the actual first team.

I doubt city will buy Kane and Grealish but if they do I'm ****ed if I'm watching a bundesliga style coronation next year.

Would be more concerned if City got either of Inter's front men than if they get Kane tbh.

Kane is a great finisher and an excellent creater of chances, but to echo what some have said here I think he would slow City's play a lot and remove a lot of their fluidity in the fnal third.

Lukaku would be a smarter buy if they wanted a powerful mobile frontman who is a top class finisher, and if they wanted to get a more physical version of Aguero then Martinez seems the obvious buy.

I am also not sure that Grealish would be a huge uprade on who they have at present in the starting XI.

What Kane and Grealish to City would do however is give them even sillier strength in depth and further make their second XI (not saying Kane and Grealish would be in the second XI but whatever players they displaced would) on any gven day as good as the starting XI for almost any other team.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

We “know” Kane and Grealish - Martinez, Haaland, Lukaku, Messi, Mbappe, Gnabry......... these are the types of players that would terrify me.

Both Grealish and Kane are one paced and used to bring to focal point of the team, Kane’s shot on sight policy might not be to Pep’s liking and Grealish hogs the ball.

City were the scariest with lighting pace from Sane and Sterling stretching the pitch and Aguero scoring all round him

Oh and Dias looking more like himself at the Euros

City spaffing over £200m on those two... ****s sake. No imagination. There are loads of more innovative and interesting options for that kind of budget.

Like you say, I'd be far more worried if they bought abroad as they are unknown quantities in the Premier League. Kane will pick up more and more injuries and Grealish.. as good as he looks on the ball, he's on his arse 85% of the time anyway.

Ironically, I reckon City fans will be ecstatic with these type of signings. Says it all...

Pep trying to buy silverware again... despite claiming to never do that. He's such a hypocrite. Cry more tears for irreplaceable Sergio, you fraudster...

Whatever your views on Kane and what he's worth in terms of transfer fee, in his time at Spurs he's been there or there abouts for the golden boot for the last 5 or so years. If he signs for City he's going to get more chances and will continue to be amongst the top scorers in the league as long as he's fit. Given that their top scoring forward in the PL only got 10 goals last year Kane will do much better than that, he will be a good signing for them, as he guarantees goals and they don't need to worry about things like value for money.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

...and that's the biggest question mark given recent injuries. They are all the type that just reoccur over and over again.

I can see him becoming another Ox or Lallana if he's not managed carefully and not played every game in another hectic season...

Exactly, we will not be in a position to write off the risk on value for money scenario with Harry Kane's injuries if we bought him as would set us back big time!
So when we weigh the goals vs injuries...rather that money's better spent elsewhere
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I thought Gilmour playing for Brighton replacing Ben White would have been a good move. I think Norwich are too poor a side for him to really benefit playing for them.

Better to be top of the championship than bottom of PL to develop for a top 6 side. Norwich season after

Gilmour plays centre midfield and White is a centre back? Hardly a replacement.
