liverpool have reportedly finally reached a £16.4million agreement to complete the transfer of Inter Milan’s Mateo Kovacic.

The Reds have supposedly agreed a fee in the last few hours ahead of sealing the deal, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Croatian midfielder, 21, is Liverpool’s main transfer target after they had scoured the market for a Steven Gerrard replacement.

He will likely be Livepool’s fourth signing of the summer but the first that has not been for an out of contract English-based star.
