The vast majority will be the same, having never heard of him or seen him play yet will still go mental at the club if we don't sign him or cream themselves of we do.

If it's a case where we do sign him, you should get excited as he's excellent but i'm too used to being disappointed with our transfers.. so yeah I'm no getting excited either.

I think we're at a point now where the squad is decent but to move to the next level will require a few special talents. You have to pay the money to get these players and I really hope the club is prepared to go that extra mile to get the manager's first choices in.

Had you heard of Mkhitaryan, Douglas Costa, Lewondowski, Suarez before their big moves? I certainly hadn't but they're all world class or close to.

Not all and I don't confess to have seen them play week in week out to form an opinion on how good they are. Anyone can fail in the Premier League no matter how good they are in other leagues.

I didn't get excited over any of the players you mentioned and a good job as only Suarez signed. I did enjoy seeing him develop and become probably one of the best strikers in the world though.
