Klopp absolutely had input into this process and as you said turned these players to world stars via his coaching methods.
I know this. My point being people will piss and moan when we sign exactly the profile of player that Klopp has been known to turn into world class because folk want us to sign the players that already are world class.

Sorry - I read that again and I didn't mean to come across as being condescending.

I'm all for buying potential and moulding them into superstars but if top players are available at a good price then we should be all over it. We don't know how good or bad the committee is but our instincts tell us that they found Coutinho, Can, Sturridge, Moreno but they also found Aspas, Alberto, Balotelli etc. Zorc & Monchi (Sevilla) seem to be the ones who have a great eye for talent and sell them on for huge increases and rinse and repeat.

The thing is that we appear to have really pushed the boat out for Gotze in terms of salary and he has chosen not to come. So be it and hopefully we get players and turn them into superstars. Klopp strikes me as having a good eye for a player from a mental perspective and this is a good start for finding the right players for us.

Having a shocker of a tournament so far, and he is doing a great job of knocking ££££ off his value.

Looks a bit weighty for an elite level footballer as well, though he's no Andy Reid, I grant you.

He's a fat, overrated scrub. *This opinion is subject to change on or before August 31st*

Can we change the thread title to Mario Gutz
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd trust Klopp to get him in shape though wouldn't you?

Germany have been a little flat across the board though.

Seem to lack a bit of spark - Gotze, as poor as he's been, still looked the most likely to score for Germany last night.

He's no Bobby Firmino as a 9.5 that's for sure. Low has ended up with a strange side - nuttin' but No 8s and real or faux No 10s.

There no Klose to solving the problem either

The German full backs looked very functional defensively and had very little to offer going forwards. The whole German team looked brighter when Schuerrle came on for Goetze, but yeah, they were a bit flat. Mario looked short on confidence and fitness (being polite)...

Hector's only fault was that he kept cutting inside, I think he only put in one real quality cross while I was watching and it was nearly a very good one. The fella on the other flank, Howedes looks very meat and potatoes.

                                He's a central defender predominantly
