The 'new' team will destroy Slovakia (sorry if I've jinxed it
). Kane, Rooney and even Alli are feeling the effects of a long season. Players always do but international managers never seem to realise. Certainly not English ones.
Playing 'fresher' players like Sturridge, Rashford and Wilshere more and using Rooney, Kane, Alli and Sterling for backup is a no brainer. It hardly upsets the balance of the team - in fact it enhances the team if you can look past the reputations.
Anyway, 2-0 to England. Comfortable.One tit for another.
