I'm pondering if I should take the chance and try and score some tickets and a flight, it's just so bloody expensive and the tickets against England sold up in seconds.

Get yourself a blue top and be Icelandic for the day, we welcome new fans

It is certainly preferable to the tear gassing and bottling we could have been walking into

If precedent is required Ive only watched Scotland away once, in Paris, and we beat the French 1-0. Impossible is nothing!

I'm definitely supporting Iceland from now on (I think I was last night, truth be told ).

The chant doesn't really require much practice though does it? It's just clapping and repeating "huh" whilst gradually doing so more quickly It is awesome though

Didn't Middlesbrough used to do that?

Iceland and their fans were great last night. I'd love them to beat France, but I suspect France won't be as ****e as England are.

“This is done! This is done! We are never going home! Did you see that! Did you see that! Never wake me from this amazing dream,” he screamed, before appearing to lose his voice as members of the squad poured on to the pitch.

“Boo as you like England! Iceland is going to play France on Sunday. France Iceland! You can go home. You can go out of Europe. You can go wherever the hell you want. England 1 Iceland 2 is the closing score here in Nice. And the fairytale continues.”

Euro 2016: Gareth Southgate should not be next England boss, says Harry Redknapp

Gareth Southgate being favourite to succeed Roy Hodgson as England manager is "scary", says Harry Redknapp.

Hodgson resigned on Monday after England were knocked out of Euro 2016 in the last 16 by minnows Iceland.

But Redknapp said Southgate was only seen as a favourite for the job because he had won a "second-rate tournament" with England's Under-21s in Toulon.

"Why should he get it in front of Steve Bruce and Sam Allardyce, who are proven managers?" asked the former QPR boss.

Redknapp, speaking on BBC Radio 5 live, said former England boss Glenn Hoddle, 58, was a more suitable candidate.

"I think he had an idea of how he wanted to play. He would have come up with a system that we all know how we're going to play," said Redknapp, who also suggested former Tottenham and Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood as a possible option.

"He's got passion, enthusiasm, I'll come and work with him all day," said the 69-year-old. "He's young, enthusiastic, knows the game."

Redknapp played down suggestions he might finally get the England job after missing out to Hodgson in 2012.

"It was a long time ago I was one of the favourites," said the former QPR, Tottenham, Portsmouth and West Ham boss.

"I don't fit. I would love to manage England, but I'm a realistic person and I realise I've got absolutely no chance."

BBC pundit Alan Shearer also thinks Hoddle should be given a second chance at taking control of England, perhaps alongside Southgate.

Hoddle managed England at the 1998 World Cup but was sacked following comments he made about disabled people.

"Hoddle is a great coach who's still got a lot to offer," said Shearer.
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

                    Batman

                    F*** off!!!

Ah, but we also have some Icelandic songs we sing, but he can get by with this and Áfram Ísland

The FA can't be this stupid, Sherwood or Southgate to follow Hodgson? And yet they are surprised then the team ****s up. Iceland has kept the same starting line up largely through the qualifiers and the tournament, you need to have a plan and know your best team.
