The delight is due to the fact that it is Sam Allardyce, the man is a self opinionated cunt of the highest order. When he finally got a really top job the smug prick ****ed himself by being greedy.

I for one am delighted to see him reap what he has sowed.

Yeah I get that bit. On the surface he's a smug bugger, but he is still human, has family and will be devastated. I'm getting old and a few years ago I'd probably be pleased but now I don't get enjoyment out of people's misery. OK fergie and Jose would be the two exceptions.

You and me both getting on Bob. He has brought this completely on himself so I don't feel one iota of sorrow for him - £3m a year after tax, that is almost £60k PER WEEK. Yet he felt the need to go and tell strangers how to flaunt the rules of the association he was one of the leading figures in, added to that he bad mouthed the man he replaced and questioned the bottle of players he was managing. All of this to random people who claimed to want to pay him £400k which is less than 7 weeks pay for him. I also suspect he left with a golden handshake.

Stitched up or not the man is an imbecile to put himself in that position so whatever shame he gets is fully merited.

Given how often these things are reported to go unpunished don't you find any satisfaction from seeing some of it actually being punished and get at least some glimmer of hope that the game will be slightly less corrupt tomorrow?
