The delight is due to the fact that it is Sam Allardyce, the man is a self opinionated cunt of the highest order. When he finally got a really top job the smug prick ****ed himself by being greedy.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostFootball is corrupt, why's it matter to fans if managers take bungs to sign players? I don't get the witch-hunt and delight in it all. Wanting other managers to be implicated is bizarre. Probably just me.
I for one am delighted to see him reap what he has sowed.

Yeah I get that bit. On the surface he's a smug bugger, but he is still human, has family and will be devastated. I'm getting old and a few years ago I'd probably be pleased but now I don't get enjoyment out of people's misery. OK fergie and Jose would be the two exceptions.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostThe delight is due to the fact that it is Sam Allardyce, the man is a self opinionated cunt of the highest order. You and me both getting on Bob. He has brought this completely on himself so I don't feel one iota of sorrow for him - £3m a year after tax, that is almost £60k PER WEEK. Yet he felt the need to go and tell strangers how to flaunt the rules of the association he was one of the leading figures in, added to that he bad mouthed the man he replaced and questioned the bottle of players he was managing. All of this to random people who claimed to want to pay him £400k which is less than 7 weeks pay for him. I also suspect he left with a golden handshake.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostYeah I get that bit. Stitched up or not the man is an imbecile to put himself in that position so whatever shame he gets is fully merited.Last edited by Irishnev; 28-09-16, 06:50 AM.

Legend.
I don't know why, the FA have acted quickly and resolved the issue, unlike FIFA, which failed to do so as its rotten to the core.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostBoth nailed on i'd say. Dodgy as **** the pair of them.
English football is corrupt to the core

Who'd have thunk it.
Bet there's a few wry smiles in the Blatter and Platini households this evening.SakhoPotatoes

He should be. He's acted like a massive dick and now has to face the consequences.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View Postand will be devastated.
Given how often these things are reported to go unpunished don't you find any satisfaction from seeing some of it actually being punished and get at least some glimmer of hope that the game will be slightly less corrupt tomorrow?
