Those dickheads really dont represent England fans, or football fans in general. But to pretend that its an England problem is ignoring the obvious.

That said, there was no trouble in Russia... When the threat is there that you're going to have a beating if you misbehave, and you'll be thrown into an eastern european jail with proper hard men, hey presto, people behave.
Edit. I've just seen a couple of videos and its hard to make out what exactly was going on, but it does look like riot police going overboard a bit. There are thousands of fans singing (which is being referred to as being rowdy?) We've seen this before numerous times over the years. Personally, I think there were a huge number of England fans singing, a few muppets threw bottles across at the Portugese fans and the Portugese riot Police reacted harshly on the entire group, causing the scenes which look like running battles, which is in fact just the riot police running in with batons and England fans (the majority well behaved) dispersing quickly with a few being picked off.Last edited by fabinho; 06-06-19, 10:06 AM.Glass half empty clubComment

What is the make up of England supporters? For some reason I imagine it being smaller club fans and lower league teams fans. There chance to play in Europe and in big games.Comment
