Only one thing would fix all these issues, and thats the breakaway super league which wont happen. So for now they can act useless and get their under the table money for as long as they want while punishing anyone who says they're ****.

Dodgy VAR in the Scotland Spain game ruling out a McTominay wonder goal at 0-0.

Initially given as foul on keeper with ref at monitor. Now saying offside… but ref didn’t disallow for offside. Dodgy as ****.

No free kick here either. Laporte spent the entire game doing this.

So they allowed play to restart and then went back for VAR to intervene…..

              Gallagher will be livid!

No. They changed the VAR ruling 20 mins after the initial decision. Was given as foul then changed to offside later on.

                It’s neither.

He's standing right in front of the keeper in an offside position. If that's not interfering with play, then I don't know what is

He doesn’t touch the keeper. Nor is he offside when the ball is kicked. They didn’t draw the lines, and there is a still where you can see.

                      Plus why change the decision?

Anyway I’m not wasting my time arguing with you.

He does. He's steps across him and has got a hand/forearm against his chest. He's literally stopping him from jumping at the ball and basically pushed him back into the goal. Watch the footage. Why on earth would a keeper step backwards into his net?? Clear interference.

Looks offside in every clip ive seen.

The keeper makes zero effort to go for the ball he is totally caught out. It is a brilliant strike.

Throw in the fact that nobody appeals for the decision then they give one thing and change it ten mins later to something else.

Anyway, you have skin in the game - if there is anything more futile than arguing with the supporter of another team then I am yet to encounter it.

I hope you destroy Norway on Sunday

From the BBC interview with the Scotland manager...

"McTominay's fine free-kick is so close to being a super goal," said Clarke.

"Initially, Jack is a centimetre offside. Then when he steps towards the keeper they've asked the referee to look at it. They've interpreted Jack as interfering with the keeper. I'm not sure the goalie is saving that shot anyway."

So, he's offside, and steps towards (ie obstructs) the keeper....whether the keeper would have saved it or not is an unknown (most likely not) but the Scotland player being there means he cannot make an attempt, so the Scottish lad is interfering with play from an offside position.

I think the decision was right technically, but it was a very soft way to disallow a goal.
